About me

Hi, I’m Carol and this is my husband John. I’m a photographer, mother of 3, grandmother of 2, and I’m here to tell your story. I found photography through a hand-me-down camera placed in my hands at age 11. I love photography for its capacity to freeze moments in time and document love in all of its wild and wonderful forms.

I love waking up early every morning with a cup of black coffee. I absolutely love tacos and spend a lot of time in my cozy chair curled up with my cat Lucy because it's my favorite spot in the world. Looking through the viewfinder time and time again to see so many unique and beautiful human faces looking back at me genuinely never gets old.

My passion

There’s so much more to photography than the click of the shutter. I’ve spent years working hard on my craft and investing in gear and education. Your investment reflects the value of the skills I’ve acquired and the services I provide. I go the extra mile diving deep into your story making sure we capture your unique legacy exactly as you remember it.

If you’d like to scheme an adventure closer to me, I’ll take the trip for free within a one hour radius of our studio in Highland, NY. If we’re going a little further afield, here are my rates:

  • I think it’s essential. I’ve come to learn that trust is the key ingredient to any relationship, especially the one you will have with your wedding photographer. There's a reason you chose them to capture the most important day of your life. Any vision of how you want your images to turn out, you are going to trust your photographer with. Trusting your photographer a little more in the main areas of their expertise will not only result in better images for you to remember your big day by, but will also relieve you of some stress as well.

  • Absolutely.

  • No. You will receive all retouched, hi-res jpeg’s.

What it’s like working with us..

“Carol made our engagement shoot wonderful. She took the vision we had for our pictures and she made it happen. She went above and beyond even standing on awkward rocks and hills to get the perfect angle. We are beyond happy with the end results! Not only is Carol an amazing photographer but she is a beautiful person inside and out and it is truly our pleasure whenever we get to work with her. She takes so much care and pride in her work. We can’t wait to see the beautiful moments she will capture for us at our wedding.”

“Carol photographed our engagement, wedding and maternity shoots and did such an amazing job. I never like taking full body pictures but she made me feel so comfortable and made it so much fun. She was great with my dog too who I wanted to bring and interacted with her so well. She had so many great ideas.”

“We've had the pleasure of working with Carol on three large events (so far). She's punctual, always smiling, reasonably priced and so easy to work with. Her photos are wonderful; they told the entire story of each event both in the posed pictures we requested, but more importantly in the candid shots that really captured the essence of the fun and emotion of each evening. We've already asked Carol to hold the date for our next event.”
